Overview
The Nzove-Ntora principal transmission pipeline carries treated water from the Nzove Water Treatment Plant to the Ntora reservoir, and is one of the main water supply lines for Kigali City, the capital of Rwanda. This preparatory survey was conducted to plan the upgrade and strengthening of the transmission pipeline, in order to improve the water supply to the growing city.
My contribution
- Collected and organized geospatial data of the existing water supply facilities and pipelines.
- Supported the design and planning of the water infrastructure, including hydraulic analysis with EPANET.
